Have you found your dream job abroad? No doubt, mintingmoney and having an international work experience can boost your career. However, migrating to a new country is a major decision. You also need to take into consideration few things before signing a contract with any company abroad:



Job description: Moving abroad can be tempting. However, you need to study the job descriptiont horoughly. Don’t accept a job if the position is lower than your qualification. It might just result in frustration and doubting your own abilities in the long run.



Employment contract:Read the contract you’ve been offered thoroughly and clarify your doubts withthe employer. Try to understand the terms and conditions correctly. If you’re planning to make a living in a newcountry, be sure what you’re getting into. Make sure the contract is legal to avoid getting into trouble when you land there.



Money matters: Alwaystake into account the amount of money you will be spending on food, rent,travel, taxes and other statutory deductions. Figure out a way to save a littlemoney from your salary as well. Be sure that the company is paying you in thecountry’s local currency.

Although you might want to finalize yourstay before you head out there, you must take advantage of the accommodationyour company offers. It’s a great way to save some money while you’re settlingin. Also, check with your employer if they have any tie-ups with any realtorswho can give you a fair deal on decent accommodations.



Social life: Don’thesitate toseek help from familyand friends living in or around the area you are planning to move into.Research well on the cultural differences to avoid any awkward situations atwork
